New website, new new

New website, new new

If you've been a reader for the past few months (or longer), you might notice a change to the design of this site.

First, thank you for following and reading along, and thanks to the awesome readers who reached out for feedback (typo callouts, disagreements, and positive affirmations are all welcome). It's been a massive encouragement ever since I set a goal of writing something each work day on my blog.

Based on suggestion from a friend, I decided to switch from WordPress to Ghost, and added a subscription model for my writing.

I'll still have free posts, and all the previous (nearly 1,000) posts will stay free.

My plan is to publish one longer form post each week, along with quote posts, and various quick thoughts. That will all continue to be available for free, and you can subscribe (for free again) to get emailed updates.

In addition, for paid members, I'll be writing 3-4 essays/week that will be behind a monthly or yearly subscription. These will be focused on design, remote work, product development, and the philosophy of living a creative, meaningful life.

I've been heavily inspired by other fantastic writers over the years, and my goal is to bring all of my unique weirdness to this site. As a husband, father, designer, writer, runner—and many other things—I hope to inspire others in their own journeys, and hopefully make the world a little lighter.

If you're wanting to write, wanting to create, wanting to add something to this planet and feel unsure how to proceed, please reach out. I love to talk, love to find encouragement from other curious minds, and am always looking for ways to grow and push myself.
