A good game

Gaming is fun, but it’s gotten harder as I age. I don’t have time for most genres, and have even less patience for the rest.

Occassionally I’ll stumble across a game that hits all the areas I care about, and when I do I enjoy playing it slowly and patiently.

Some of my favorite games of the last decade have been single player journeys. I also love a few multiplayer games with the right people and under the right circumstances.

My ideal game can be paused at anytime, allows for short periods of play that can be extended if the moment is right, and require creative puzzle solving.

Dragonsweeper has been the perfect game for me the last few weeks. I’ve played a few rounds each day, and have gotten decent at beating it. The final quest, beating it without breaking the egg, still eludes me. If you like solitaire or belatro or minesweeper you’ll love this game.
