Curiosity, stories, hobbies, saying no, and failures
This week I wrote less posts and focused on a few longer pieces.
First, the longer pieces:
- Finding a hobby - I’ve found in my own life that it’s important to enjoy activities for the pure joy of creativity and curiousity. When everything is tied to a financial outcome we lose something in the process.
- Saying no - Learning, and re-learning, when and how I should say no to even the good things, and why that’s helping simplify my life.
- Celebrate failure - I share the time I made a five-figure mistake in my team, and what happened as a result.
And now the two shorter pieces.
- Connecting to the story - Why fiction matters, and why I keep coming back for more.
- Following curiosity - a recurring theme. Curiosity is fun, it’s play, and it opens new possibilities.
Of course, as with all weeks, I wrote more than these posts. Scroll down if you want to read more. Thanks!
