Meditation and running
I had a great conversation with someone recently about meditation and its value. He challenged me to try it. I’ve tried it out in the past, and appreciated it in small bits, but never found a way to really work it into my daily life.
The closest I’ve come is on my runs through the woods. Occasionally I’ll just run, sans any sound, and feel my own breath and process my thoughts.
I’ve been testing meditation while running. Results are mixed, but I’m going to keep trying it and see if it helps with all the lovely chaos bouncing in my brain.
