One inbox
One inbox, manage it well and be done with it. Exotic categorization systems just make for more work (twice).
I’ve long chosen to have all my email inboxes forward into a single inbox. Yes it’s a bit more work, but I know there’s one place to check, and that’s it. For years I used HEY to set aside important emails. But since moving to straight up Apple Mail I find that’s no longer an option.
In that case I’ll take a screenshot of the email and add it to my task manager.
It’s one place to look at, and I can check it as often or as little as I choose.
