Sleeping on it
It’s ok to sit on an idea. If it’s good it may come back around.
If you are afraid you’ll forget it, write it down.
Both are true.
At times I’ve jumped on an idea, poured months of energy into it, and followed through to the end. Other times I’ve written an idea down, forgot about it, and only picked it up again when an external trigger reminded me.
There are many ways to make things happen and push ideas forward.
Ideas are precious, fleeting, and renewing.
Sometimes sleeping on an idea convinces you that it’s worth trashing, sometimes jumping on an idea and working late shows you it had merits.
