Starlink and T-Mobile

As of iOS 18.3, T-Mobile subscribers with a compatible iPhone and Starlink beta access are able to connect to Starlink satellites, reports Bloomberg.

Last Summer I got to test Apple’s satellite texting feature, bundled through Globalstar. It was magical. In southern Idaho, far from any cell towers, climbing the highest peak in Idaho (didn’t make it all the way, but had a glorious time), I managed to text my wife. It was a special moment, being able to keep in touch with a loved one far from any civilization.

I’m not sure if T-Mobile will work the same, but Apple absolutely nailed the user experience of showing how texting works.
