Top five this week
Today is my second week sharing the top five posts.
Last week was a lot of fun, and I’m continuing the tradition. Some posts are from this week, and a few are before but ones I want to share.
- On Learning the Wrong Lesson from Elon Musk’s Success - Berating and agression in leadership are all the rage. I share a time where I led the right way and the wrong way, and what I’ve learned from each.
- True fans and engagement - Having true fans can create positive feedback loops in your creativity, and can also support your dreams. Finding them is hard.
- Laundry, Silverware, and Fighting Entropy - Pick your battles. Some things are worth fighting for, others should be dropped.
- Finding new paths - A colleague pushed me to make a change. I fought it, but looking back it’s turned me into a better designer.
- Checklist for team productivity - Working remotely can suck, or it can be great, or at least bearable. Some tips on improving collaboration.
We can write for two reasons. To think, and to encourage thought. My hope is for the Venn diagram overlap between these to increase.
