When it's all enough

Some weeks, this being no exception, it’s easy to feel the weight of everything bearing down at once. That’s ok. We’re human, we have a lot going on, and at times it feels unbearable.

In those moments we keep pushing forward as best we can, but recognizing it’s ok to say enough, to pause, to rest, to find beauty in nature, to not be consumed by the temporary demands that would monopolize everything in their path.

In those moments we can notice the quiet things of beauty. Perhaps it’s a flowering plant in spring, the rich glow of morning light against the trees. We can find joy and peace where we look, even if at times obscured by the unpleasant.
