Writing your way out, vibe coding podcasts, Apple's miss, how I design changed, vibe coding
Following is a summary of what I published this week.
Because this newsletter is now available as a subscription, I'll reference the free article, and link the paid ones below. As always feedback is welcome. Thank you!
Free
- Write your way out - Now more than ever, we need you to share your words, your thoughts, your humanity. In a world where that’s all shifting, and most of what we consume is a mishmash of AI generated slop, your voice matters.
- Vibe coding podcasts - Across three of my podcasts I touched on the topic I’ve been working through this week. Namely, figuring out how to use Replit to code an app. Check them out, feedback as always is welcome. Async, Fractional, Wold Wide Web.
Paid
- Apple’s miss is our opportunity - Massive companies have to target big opportunities. We have the chance to fit through the cracks and make things that are delightful.
- How I design just changed - I took a two day intensive generative AI course and it shifted how I’m thinking as a designer and product person. I also made an app in an evening.
- Working with the machine, not against it - The second day into building an app with Replit, and I’m hooked.
As a followup, is this weekly summary helpful? I’m considering replacing it with a list of articles and snippets and quote posts that I found interesting throughout the week.
