Daily rhythms, outliving my father, running, physical conversations, and the rollercoaster of life
A funny things happens when you start deciding to write a short essay each day. Your brain accepts the constraint and rises to the task.
The last two weeks have been a bit chaotic, but I've written a few short essays that I'm proud of.
Since I'm sticking to an arbitrary limit of five, you'll just have to search back for the one other post I wanted to share but didn't.
- Embracing the rhythm of days - Sometimes we have tons of energy, other times we're empty. Accept that, and you'll find a way through it.
- The year I outlived my father - My dad passed away when I was young, and reaching his age was hard. I made it through that time, and am grateful.
- Why I run - It's not for everyone, but sometimes running is just what's needed to feel alive.
- Experiencing physical conversations - Time away from screens, in person with people, creates connection and offers opportunity for deeper discussions.
- Life is a roller coaster, stop and take a picture - We have highs, and we have lows. Let's appreciate the present without rushing to the future.
