I can’t wait for the day that I no longer need lightning cables in my life. 

They were such a great technology. Worlds apart from USB-A and USB-C. Easy to plug in, small and compact (but unfortunately also prone to breaking no matter the brand) and for a time near universal. 

But now in the USB-C world I can’t wait till everything goes that direction, and I’ll be able to use a single cord for all my devices.
