I’ve been encouraged to remember the wonderful things God has done in my life. I want to take the time to mention a few of the blessings I’ve received.
God has been very real in my life. My father died when I was five, the incident brought our family close and we drew comfort in knowing that our Father cared for us. God has been with me through my whole life, always taking care of me and providing for my needs. I’m grateful to Him for everything He’s done.
- A wonderful wife
After nearly three years of marriage I can say that I’ve been greatly blessed. The entire marriage hasn’t been “Strawberries and Cream”, as my wife would say, but it’s been a good one. I have a close friend that I can talk to about anything. She encourages me and inspires me. I couldn’t imagine a life without her.
- My mother
My mom had to take on the role of double parenthood when I was young. She was amazing. She did her best to make happy childhood memories for us. We had many great times traveling the country in our Isuzu Trooper, crisscrossing coast to coast. I can’t say enough about how amazing my mother has been in my life. She made our childhood full of fond memories. Thanks mom.
I grew up with two of the best brothers I could ask for. Sure, we had our fights and quarrels, but we loved each other and had great times together. Being a middle child I often felt like I was caught between to opposing factions, but it made life fun. I’m thankful for the good times we’ve had. Now I have an additional three brothers, three great little guys, look forward to seeing what life brings.
- Friends and family
God has blessed me with many friends and family in my short life. He’s brought amazing people into my path to be a blessing. I’m thankful to all my family and friends, life has been great and wouldn’t have been the same without them.
- Good health
Overall I prosper and am in health. I have the physical capabilities to do anything I want, what an amazing blessing!
I could go on and on. The point is, there are many things we can be thankful for. Take the time to sit down and count them. Do you have any extra blessings you can share?
