Busy work

Working on a project or part of a project that doesn’t add to the bottom line is busy work. It’s staying busy for the sake of being busy. This is nonsense and a waste of time. Ask yourself why you’re checking your email so often, or reading articles online. Often it’s because of a mental roadblock with your current project. It could be a technical issue, an emotional issue, or just plain lack of enthusiasm.

Not feeling passionate about the project? That’s ok, you don’t always have to be passionate about what you’re working on. Some things just require sitting down for x minutes a day and working on the project until it’s complete.
