The iPad 2 was unveiled today. Needless to say, I’m sold. I watched the ads for it, looked over the new apps, and want one. Moments like these make me ponder my minimalist ways. It makes me wonder if I really am a minimalist, or if I’m just faking it. I try to justify that it could make my life simpler; and I’m sure it could. Since I’ve been without an iPod Touch I’ve spent less time with electronics, perhaps a small amount, but it’s been noticeable. I keep coming back to this question, do I want to have electronics that are so easily accessible that they become an extension of who I am? Perhaps that’s the point, maybe that’s where I’m heading. Stay tuned.
